- Session is specifically designed for children aged 12 +
- You only need to book a ticket for children attending the workshop, accompanying adults and siblings under 5 years do not need to book tickets.
- The session is designed for children educated outside of school, who are developing their art skills and working towards a formal award.
- Whether you are developing your work for an Art Award of GCSE, eager to consider different directions to push your interests, and curious about new materials to discover, join them at the RCCL studio.
- Joanna Conybeare (an artist, educator and Art Award Adviser) will share individual focus time to discuss your work, suggest new avenues to explore and connections through their collection.
- It is an open studio atmosphere with artistic materials and techniques available to explore in the context of your interests, as well as time spent in the gallery to discuss ideas and encourage your critical thinking.
- Don’t forget your sketchbook/portfolio!
- During sessions parent/carers must remain onsite.
- Before or after the session you are welcome to enjoy your packed lunch in the Social Space of the Roden Centre for Creative Learning.
